OUR ACTIVITIES

FLY SORGUE VENTOUX, invites you to discover the Ultralight Gyrocopter, an all fabulous experience where you will see beautiful panoramas like the region of Luberon Ventoux (Mont-Ventoux, Dentelles de Montmirail…), or the breathtaking aerial views of the picturesque villages of the Comtat Venaissin (Beaume de Venise, le Barroux, Bédoin…), or on the Monts-de-Vaucluse (Roussillon, Gordes, etc…)

THE AERODROM

The FLY SORGUE VENTOUX Association is located in the aerodrom of Edgar Soumille in Pernes les Fontaines – Provence (84 – Vaucluse), between the Mont Ventoux and L’Isle sur la Sorgue (10 minutes).
We have a super airstrip that is more than 3900 ft long, adjoining a beautiful airstrip of grass that is 2800 ft + long and a favorable weather, that we can enjoy safely.

THE GYROCOPTER

It is an Ultralight that looks like a small helicopter. It is supported by the rotation of a rotor, that, unlike the helicopter, is driven just by the relative wind strength.
The gyrocopter is propelled by a propeller driven by a motor (engine?). It sits one pilot and one passenger.
The gyrocopter flight characteristics make it one of the safest flying machines ever built !
